We laughing refer to our local travels as our adventures in the big city. I’ll fill you in why it’s laughable. The big city of Kanab is roughly a 5 mile square. Population 4500 or so and about and hour and a half from anything in any direction. Our latest adventures in the big city took us to a place on the Kaibab Plateau called Snake Gulch.
There is a reason this place is called Snake Gulch, on our most recent trip out, we spotted two rattlesnakes. One even shook its tail at us.
Mr. Rattlesnake was only doing his job in protecting this beautiful place.
I’m fairly certain that I have the BEST adventure partner ever. Steven loves exploring as much as I do.
The wall of pictographs and petroglyphs was absolutely incredible. The colors were still so vibrant  The adventure was incredible, we are super blessed that this is our backyard. I have to say that we live in one of the most amazing places.
I hope at some time in your life, you are able to visit these places. I hope that you will be in awe of the history and the splendor that resonates from each of these areas.
