Cob Oven Workshop

Do you love the taste of authentic wood fired pizza? Do you fancy building your own pizza oven for almost nothing?

If you want a traditional Italian pizza oven or bread oven in your garden or in your outdoor kitchen made easily and simply from the earth from beneath your feet, then you will want to reserve a spot for our cob oven workshop.

Imagine with me for a moment…

Deep blue skies and warm sunshine a gentle breeze kissing your skin. Laughter filling the air. You’ve just come back from the garden with a basket of herbs, vegetables and greens for delightful salads and warm freshly baked pizzas. There’s fire in the cob oven and it’s nearly ready for the first pizza. Smash out some dough and load it up with the herbs and veggies just harvested. Place the first pizza of the night in the oven. Have a glass of wine, laugh a little, dance a little, enjoy being with the people you call friends. 

You’ll definitely taste the difference and your friends will be seriously impressed you built your own oven. You can be as creative as you wish as you sculpt it and shape it – it will be a work of art for your garden as well as a delicious wood fired oven. 

We’ll take you through every stage of building your own cob oven. Everyone can do it – you don’t need any previous building experience. We promise to show you just how easy it is to build your own cob oven. 

Details:

Day 1 – May 22, 2021 10:00 am until dark thirty

You will get dirty! We will be making cob, moving rocks, and wet sand. 

We will provide drinks (water, tea, etc. and some light snacks). Bring a sack lunch. We will feed you a farm dinner day one.

Day 2 – May 29, 2021 

You will get dirty! We will be digging out sand from the oven and lighting it’s first fire.

We will provide drinks (water, tea, etc. and some light snacks). Bring a sack lunch. Day two we will be noshing on freshly baked pizzas! 

 

As an added bonus, we will be putting together a scrapbook of the build for each person!

Tickets are refundable up until May 15, 2021. If you are unable to attend the class, and do not contact us before the cancellation date, we will offer a partial credit for another class.
