My Les Mills Pump Journey – Day One

My Les Mills Pump journey – day one begins!

I hope your just as excited as I am. I love weights, I’m somewhat addicted to acquiring them. As workouts go, I’m not a dancy, hip hoppy, zumba kind of girl. I like great music and just want to get in and get out with the most results. Weights do that for me. “Because I’m all about them weights, ’bout them weights. No treadmill.”

Charlee and I sing it this way all the time now. We just get a good laugh out of it. Jump over to AbundantHeartApparel to get one of your own.

On with the agony of day one –

I’m starting the program weighing in at a whopping 191 pounds (holy crap, it’s ok, I said it too). I told you while all of those beautiful programs were collecting dust, my backside was getting bigger. I have my measurements (I’m not going to bore you with those). Let me just say it was a RUDE awakening!

Get ready, get the weights on the bar, yoga mat ready, and step thing-a-ma-jig out. Here we go!

The hardest part is over, I pushed play on Les Mills Pump Challenge – Holy noodle arms, Batman!

I’m starting with 15 pounds on my bar and am using my 8 pound hand weights for the exercises without the bar. I modified some and pushed myself til the end. Thank goodness Pump Challenge is only 30 minutes long. Now, to keep up the eating part – this is 80% food and 20% following the program. I CAN and WILL do this!

My Les Mills Pump journey – day one is now complete.
