Caramel Macchiato

I don’t generally as a rule put creamer in my coffee, however Charlee brought this stuff home and I’m hooked. Must Have Caramel Macchiato.

I must find an alternative – I’m in love. This stuff is LOADED with junk I can’t even pronounce. If you can’t pronounce it, you shouldn’t eat it except for Quinoa. Eat Quinoa.

Catastrophe averted! Here’s my copycat Caramel Macchiato recipe:

1 can of evaporated milk

1 1/2 cups of almond milk, regular milk, whatever kind you like

1 tsp caramel extract

1/2 tsp almond extract

Need it a little sweeter? Add 1 Tbs honey (pour 1/4 cup of creamer into a small dish pour in honey and heat until honey has dissolved. Add to remaining creamer)

Store in fridge for a week or so if it lasts that long. Make it any flavor you like. Just remember to keep it clean.
